Provision of Clean Water

More than half of the schools in rural Africa lack water and sanitation facilities. As a result, students miss many days of school due to water and sanitation related illnesses. Girls are more likely to drop out of school when they do not have access to adequate latrines. Kamollo Foundation is changing that by improving the access of students in Oyugis to safe water and latrines at school.

Kamollo Foundation works to improve the health and well being of the community through interventions at schools. Kamollo Foundation funds water projects in Oyugis and other parts.
Students and vulnerable childrens in Oyugis receive clean drinking water, functioning latrines, and hygiene and health education. Our programs include building hand washing stations, borhole drilling, building latrines, and installing water tanks.
